🛡️ Nuwber Opt-Out Guide (2025-2026 Edition)

Nuwber is a prominent people-search engine that aggregates public records. Removing your listing helps prevent your address, phone number, and family connections from being easily accessible online.

📋 Overview

  • Processing Time: 24 to 48 hours.
  • Difficulty: Easy.
  • Requirements: Your profile URL and a valid email address.

🛠️ Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1: Locate Your Listing

  1. Go to Nuwber.com.
  2. Enter your First Name, Last Name, and City/State in the search bar.
  3. Browse the results to find the profile that matches your information.

Step 2: Copy Your Profile URL

  1. Click on "View Details" or your name to open your full profile page.
  2. Go to your browser's address bar and copy the full URL (it should look something like https://nuwber.com/person/5f...).

Step 3: Access the Opt-Out Form

  1. Navigate directly to the Nuwber Opt-Out page: 👉 https://nuwber.com/optout
  2. Paste the Profile URL you copied in Step 2 into the "Enter URL" field.
  3. Click the "Opt Out" button.

Step 4: Submit Your Email

  1. On the next screen, enter an email address (using a burner/secondary email is recommended for privacy).
  2. Click "Remove".

Step 5: Verify the Request (Required)

  1. Check your email inbox for a message from Nuwber.
  2. Open the email and click the "Confirm Request" link.

⚠️ Note: Your data will not be removed until you click this link. If you don't see it, check your Spam/Junk folder.

💡 Post-Removal Checklist

  • Verify Removal: Check the site again after 48 hours to ensure the profile is no longer searchable.
  • Clear Search Engines: If the listing still appears in Google results, use the Google Outdated Content Tool to remove the cached version.
  • Batch Removal: Since Nuwber often shares data with other brokers, consider checking PeopleFinders and AnyWho next.

Data brokers sometimes re-create profiles from new sources. We recommend setting a calendar reminder to check again in 3 months.
